Why Take Out Wedding Insurance?

Wedding Bouquet

A full ceremonial wedding these days is incredibly expensive, and even a basic civil service won't be cheap. No one likes to think that something may go wrong on the special day, but a wedding insurance policy will at least provide financial backup if disaster strikes.

The items covered will vary from policy to policy, but you can expect to have cover for items as small as the wedding cake, right up to cover for the full cost of the wedding if it has to be cancelled due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

Prices start at around the £25 mark for the lowest level of cover, rising to £100 or even more for full cover of a lavish ceremony - which many people will see as a small price to pay for helping such an important day progress with less worry and hassle.

Hopefully, the day will go without a hitch, but if disaster does strike at least you'll have the financial means to rearrange the ceremony rather than losing out completely.
